Sierra del Rio Golf Course opened for play in 2007 in Elephant Butte.  This public 18-hole championship-caliber golf course has been completely redesigned and reconstructed into a world-class course.  Golf is played year-round here.  The facility includes a golf shop and a full service premier restaurant.  Encircling the golf course is a residential community with a unique mix of neighborhoods presenting an enriching blend of lifestyles.  Check out this event on Monday:
