Geronimo Springs Museum is located in downtown Truth or Consequences adjacent to the beautiful Las Palomas Plaza at Geronimo Springs, an historic site where Native Americans and early cowboys came to rest and bathe in the hot mineral water. This artist-created ceramic fountain with flowing hot mineral water depicts the mountains and history of Sierra County.

Straight from the owner of Zia Kayak Outfitters:
The Largest Kayak Dealer in New Mexico.
We want you to spend some time looking over the individual web pages specially designed for each of our products. In addition to information and pricing, we have inserted personal comments. How you navigate to the other pages is by clicking on the group subjects on the left and then select individual items within.
We stock the best of the best in the sit on top kayak industry. But, in addition to our four lines of kayaks (Hobie Kayaks, Malibu Kayaks, Cobra Kayaks, and Diablo Paddlesports Kayaks), we also stock paddling attire, water shoes (that can be worn all the time), kayaking accessories, PFDs, dry suits, hats, sunglasses, and fishing gear. When it comes to fishing gear, we only stock "the good stuff" and our prices meet or beat Bass Pro and Tackle Warehouse.
Hobie Kayaks, of Hobie Cat fame, are the ones you can paddle, peddle or sail! Sit-on-Top style kayaks are the rage around the country and we are the first introducing them to New Mexico. At the same time, the fastest growing water sport in the world is Stand Up Paddleboarding. We carry both hard hull and inflatable SUP boards and we carry a line of hybrid SOT/SUP combo kayaks.
Typically, people curious about kayaks come in to our shop and view the varied models. What we do is give you a free training on paddling, getting in and out of a kayak and schedule time to provide a personalized demo of a few kayaks out on the lake. With our assistance, after learning about and then experiencing time on the water in some kayaks, people are able to make the right purchasing decision. We pride ourselves in knowing our customers got the perfect model that will maximize their enjoyment and use.
For those not yet ready to actually own a kayak, but want to spend some time kayaking or stand up paddleboarding, we have a rental fleet of single, double and SUP kayaks at the ready!
Our hours of operation are 10:00am to 6:00pm, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. We are closed Tuesday & Wednesday.
Come by and say "hey" and please let everyone know that Zia Kayak Outfitters welcomes them. Not only is Zia Kayak Outfitters New Mexico's only fishing kayak dealership, we have many items in inventory never before seen in this area...
Regards, Russ & Edna Trager (575.744.4185)
