Christmas in the Foothills December 3rd

Christmas in the Foothills:10am-4pm, Hillsboro Community Center, Hillsboro, NM, on Highway 152 located 17 miles west of I-25Hillsboro's annual holiday event, Christmas in the Foothills, takes place at locations throughout the picturesque and historic village of Hillsboro. Highlights of the event include an exciting array of vendors selling specialty gifts in the Hillsboro Community Center, live music, and the ever-popular $49.99 Art Show and Sale. Horse and wagon transport through town is provided by Lawrence Tedrow and his Clydesdales. This year's event has been recognized as part of the New Mexico Centennial, complete with a proclamation from the NM State Senate recognizing December 3rd as the 100th anniversary of the death of Nicholas Galles, an early resident of Hillsboro who was the first Chief Justice of the NM Supreme Court. Cost: free.
