Events kick off Friday afternoon when the arts & crafts show opens a day early at 2pm. Saturday's slate includes live music, a 10amparade, rock crawls and thrilling motocross acrobatics displays by the Brigade FMX team from 11am-5pm. The fun continues on Sunday with music from On Call, more motorcycle acrobatics and closing ceremonies. The Elephant Butte Balloon Regatta is happening right next door at the state park, so arrive early to catch the ascent or descent (see below for details). A balloon glow is planned for Saturday night, weather permitting. See the Elephant Butte Chamber of Commerce website for more info. 6-10am, Lions Beach, Elephant Butte Lake State Park (enter through the main gate)

C.A.S.T. for Kids Fishing Tournament
7am-12pmElephant Butte Lake State Park

This fishing tournament began in 1991 and unites volunteers who love to fish with disabled and disadvantaged children for a day of fishing in the outdoors. NM Old Time Fiddlers Saturday Night Dance
7pm, NMOTFA Playhouse, 710 Elm,Truth or Consequences

Everyone's invited to dances at the Playhouse, where the New Mexico Old Time Fiddlers Association keeps fiddle music alive! Performers include Stan Williams, Wes Burrus and Berry Cox on fiddle, John Tate on guitar, Helen Tate on drums, Larry Nelson on bass, and Snooky Keller on piano. The all-ages fun includes dancing, a door prize, and refreshments. Wheelchair accessible; alcohol and smoking not allowed on the premises. Donations are appreciated.
